Tallulah, came back to us at just under a year of
age when his original home did not work out. Raised
strictly as a livestock guardian until that point, he earned a major from
the Puppy Class over adults at his first show. He finished his
title at the age of 12.5 months old in June 2018 with
five majors (including an ASDCA Regional Specialty
major) and two Best of Breeds over Specials in only
three weekends of showing. Then he went back in with the
goats on our working livestock ranch. In 2019, we dusted him
off and brought him out for the ASDCA National Specialty
in Boise, ID, where he won Best in Specialty, a Working
Group III and an OH-Best in Show over the weekend. in
2021, he again won Best in Specialty at the ASDCA
National as well as an All-Breed Best in Show, Best of
Breed at Westminster, Best of Breed at the AKC National
Championship Show in Florida and finished the year as
the #1 Anatolian in both the All-breed as well as Breed
rankings. We are very proud of this boy, for his
adaptability and sweet nature: he is a no-frills, solid,
sound, easy moving dog with great substance and not
overly large.
