We produce
everything we sell at Salmon Creek Ranch. Our goats are born
on our family farm and raised on our California coastal
forage, native grasses and forrage, with a little bit of hay
over the winter. They have many acres of rangeland to roam and
we take great pride in producing the best possible meat from
these carefully nurtured animals. Our goat meat is a seasonal
product, since we do not buy animals of unknown origin, eating
habits, age or health history from other producers and market
them under our label. These are our goats, from start to
finish and we are proud of them.
Our meat is USDA
slaughtered, inspected and butchered locally. We do ship
anywhere in the continental USA, and the cost depends upon
package weight and destination, so contact us for details. If
local, you can pick up your goat meat from our on-farm store
in Bodega or at our booth at the Santa Rosa Certified Farmers
Market at the Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa on Saturday
mornings. Delivery to San Francisco may be arranged. Below are
